The Product Engineer will look at our platform from the students’ perspective and be their advocate. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to find solutions that promote effective, enjoyable, and intuitive learning of software engineering through our platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and design new features needed for a successful, effective, and enjoyable learning process
  • Design and implement MVPs to test product ideas and hypotheses
  • Design measurement approaches to evaluate new features
  • Participate in technical design sessions with the engineering team
  • Develop technical requirements for new features

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of e-learning standards to maintain student learning intuition and enable new learning experiences
  • Utilize prior experience with UX research to enhance our current product offerings
  • 3+ years of experience in product design or web development
  • Great team player who wants to get things right rather than having to be right
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented with impeccable follow-through
  • Excellent project coordination and planning skills, can confidently guide technical projects from start to finish

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js
